Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RI State Licensure and BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Minimum three years' critical care nursing experience.
• Knowledge of IABP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under approved protocol and nursing process.
• Evaluate records and labs to prepare patients for procedures.
• Assist physicians with specialized cardiac cath procedures and device insertions.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure continuity of care between units.
