Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and the care team to meet department standards and patient outcomes.

You will assess patients, administer medications, educate families, and manage care with a focus on safety and comfort across shifts in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required or in process
• 1 year of critical care experience required
• Cath Lab experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts; report changes promptly
• Assess safety risks and regulatory compliance in patient environment
• Assess pain and reassess after interventions; ensure comfort
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses
• Provide patient and family education on condition, treatment, and follow-up measures
• Lead and supervise care team; delegate tasks as appropriate
