Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to join our cardiovascular care team. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, with at least 1 year of critical care experience; cath lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state(s) of practice or active compact license.
• 1 year of critical care experience required.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during each shift.
• Assess patient safety and regulatory compliance; monitor for changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Lead care team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
