Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to coordinate and deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The RN will assess patients, administer medications, educate families, and supervise care delivery to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and a safe environment for all patients served by the Bay Area hospital network.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice and/or a valid compact license.
• ACLS and BLS are required for this role.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, reporting changes to the team.
• Assess safety risks and regulatory compliance in patient environment.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic response.
• Provide patient and family education about condition, care plan, and follow-up steps.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team, delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with standards and scope of practice.
