Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• Current State of Texas license or compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)
• 2 years previous Cath Lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients using the nursing process
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with an interdisciplinary team
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes
• Coordinates treatment plans and discharge/transfer plans
• Maintains regulatory standards and ensures patient safety and quality of service
