Job summary

AdventHealth Calhoun is seeking a registered nurse to assess and plan patient care across physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, perform IVs, wound care, and diagnostic procedures, and educate patients and families.

Strong documentation and patient-flow coordination are essential. Required RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 1+ year in a related nursing area; RCIS preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• RCIS preferred
• 1+ year experience in nursing in a related specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate learning outcomes
• Ensure patient safety, rights, and coordination of care across pathways
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in charts and records
• Support resource management and patient flow across invasive cardiology areas
• Participate in training new staff after achieving independence
