Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to support patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will operate the Axiom Artis Hemodynamic system, participate as a table operator, scrub, circulator, and monitor tech, and care for pre- and post-Cath Lab patients.

ACLS and BLS are required; RN license must be active in Texas. Qualified candidates bring Associates Degree in Nursing and strong teamwork, sterile technique, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required
• Active RN license in state of practice or compact license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Med/Surg or cath lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance and teamwork
• Operate the Axiom Artis Hemodynamic system
• Know procedures and equipment in Cath lab
• Multitask as table operator, scrub, circulator and monitor tech
• Care for pre- and post-Cath Lab patients
• Setup equipment and maintain sterile technique
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor vitals and Aldrete score
