Special Procedures Technologist New Grad Program

Join to apply for the Special Procedures Technologist New Grad Program role at Banner Health.

Program Details

The SPT New Grad Program provides a 16-week hands-on training focused on Interventional Cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You'll work closely with Physicians, Nurses, and Senior Technologists, playing a vital role in patient care and life-saving procedures.

Requirements
  • Recent or upcoming graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Locations

Multiple Banner Medical Centers in the Phoenix area, including Banner Boswell, Banner Del Webb, Banner Desert, Banner Estrella, Banner Thunderbird, and Banner University Medical Center.

Schedule & Benefits

Offers 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, with call starting around week 14, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include full-time employment, sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment, call pay, night and weekend differentials.

Position Summary & Core Functions

This role performs specialized radiographic procedures, educates patients, produces high-quality images, maintains equipment, and adheres to safety and confidentiality policies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National certification (ARRT) and state licensure if applicable.
  • BLS certification.
  • Typically requires 2 years of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional related education and experience preferred.
