Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Chicago. Responsibilities include scrub support, imaging operations, and patient safety in interventional procedures.

Required IL RT licensure with AART, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a 2-year Radiology degree. Strong communication, sterile technique, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current RT licensure in IL and AART certification.
• BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2-year Associate Degree in Radiology; imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and serves as radiation safety resource.
• Ensures patient safety and sterile technique.
• Communicates clearly with providers and team to assure QA in imaging and hemodynamics.
• Assists with supply inventory and participates in site/ system teams.
• Preps, drapes, assists and circulates per procedure.
