Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role requires IL licensure, BLS/ACLS within 6 months, and an Associate Degree in Radiology.

The position emphasizes scrub and circulate skills, sterile technique, and teamwork in a fast-paced cath lab setting. Day shift with a 7:00am-5:30pm schedule and call as needed; patient safety and QA are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• IL RT licensure with current AART and BLS; ACLS within 6 months.
• 2-year Associate Degree in Radiology.
• Previous imaging experience preferred in X-ray and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and acts as radiation expert.
• Ensures safe patient care with sterile technique and proper documentation.
• Communicates clearly with team to ensure quality assurance in imaging and hemodynamics.
• Assists with supply inventory and participates in site teams and education.
