Job summary

Insight Chicago is seeking a Cardiac Cath Radiology Tech to operate radiographic equipment and obtain diagnostic images in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures/Electrophysiology lab in Chicago. The role requires teamwork with physicians, RNs, and cardiovascular technicians, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The position emphasizes radiation safety, sterile technique, and the ability to scrub and monitor during procedures, including on-call rotations for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and obtaining diagnostic images.
• Adjusts exposure techniques per safety guidelines.
• Positions patients for radiographic views using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Processes and archives images with correct labeling.
• Supports scrub role and procedure table planning.
• Assists as monitor person during procedures.
• Rotates on-call for emergencies.
• Understands radiation safety and sterile techniques.
