Advocate Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Lutheran General Hospital. The role involves scrub, circulator, and monitor responsibilities across diagnostic and interventional procedures, including complex devices like intra-aortic balloon pumps.

You will collect hemodynamic data, manage sterile technique, and ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety. The position requires a minimum of 3 years in an interventional cath lab as a CVT, BCLS

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab as a CVT.
• Intermediate computer skills and hemodynamic interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of IV therapy and basic patient assessment.
• BCLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Function as scrub assistant, circulator and monitor technician on a rotating basis during procedures.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures with complex devices, including intra-aortic balloon pump.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret hemodynamic and oximetric data.
• Observe sterile technique during prepping, scrubbing, draping, assisting, and circulating.
• Process digital imaging; title and label images properly and transfer images.
• Demonstrate competence in operation of imaging and monitoring equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure reliable results and quality in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Provide patient care within procedural parameters and document events chronologically.
