Advocate Health Care in Downers Grove, IL seeks a cardiovascular cath lab nurse to provide professional, highly technical nursing care to cardiovascular patients and to assist physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years cath lab experience with relevant licenses (RTN, RTR, RCIS within 2 years) and ACLS/IABP. The candidate must be able to lift 35 pounds, stay on call within 30 minutes, and complete ongoing CEUs.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years cardiac cath lab experience.
• AAS in RTR, or RTN license.
• RCIS within two years of employment.
• ACLS, IABP.
• RCVT, Paramedic (EMT-P).
• Respond to off hour call within 30 minutes.
• Lifts up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional, highly technical nursing care to cardiovascular patients.
• Assist physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain documentation of cardiovascular procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and workshops.
• Ensure safety and quality control in the lab.
• Assist in staff orientation and development.
