Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Ithaca, NY. The role supports Cardiologists in invasive procedures, with sterile technique, equipment handling, and patient safety at the forefront.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT RT, NYS license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Prior Cath Lab experience preferred. NAC hours, competitive benefits, and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-accredited program.
• Experience: 2 years in Radiologic Technology with 1 year in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Licensure/Registry: ARRT Radiology, NYS license; BLS and ACLS are required or to be completed.
• Additional: pass cardiac dysrhythmias test and departmental validation.
• Competency: complete skill validations as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist in diagnostic invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Scrub and assist; prepare sterile trays, maintain sterile field, and manage equipment QC.
• Maintain fluoroscopy hardware; calibrate and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Ensure patient safety and respond per emergency protocols.
