Cayuga Health in Ithaca, NY seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to perform daily Cath Lab operations, provide direct patient care, scrub for diagnostic/interventional cases and monitor hemodynamics. Onsite at 101 Dates Dr, full-time days with limited travel, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality care.

Applicants should have ARRT radiology registration, NYS license, BLS/ACLS, and Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AART Accredited School of Radiologic Technology with an Associate's Degree.
• 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience with 1 year Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology preferred.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (RT); NYS license; BLS and ACLS (by end of orientation).

Responsabilités

• Assist Cardiologist in diagnostic invasive procedures and scrub for interventional cases.
• Maintain Cath Lab equipment and perform quality control as needed.
• Prepare sterile trays, instruments and supplies; ensure sterile field and patient safety.
• Interpret basic cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies per protocol.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Support off-premise call coverage as needed.
