Job summary

Cayuga Health in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Cath Lab. The RN will provide direct patient care for patients undergoing noninvasive cardiac testing and invasive cardiovascular procedures, including pre-procedural screening, procedural prep and recovery.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active New York State RN license, and BLS/ACLS. On-site work 7am-5pm, four 10-hour shifts weekly; pay range $39.63-$48.18 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing.

• BLS, ACLS (completed by end of orientation)

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and families, whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex and quickly recognizes normal parameters, deviations and abnormalities in physical, emotional, developmental and behavioral status based on past clinical experience.
