Job summary

This isiscny location in Syracuse is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Cath Lab to participate in vascular angiography and interventional procedures, under the supervision of vascular surgeons and cardiologists. The role includes obtaining quality radiographs while maintaining radiation safety and supporting equipment operations.

The position requires an AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration, ARRT certification (within 1 year), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent with NYS license/registration and CPR certification.
• ARRT certification required within 1 year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in vascular angiography and interventional imaging under the guidance of Vascular Surgeons and Cardiologists.
• Operate radiology equipment and perform QA in the Heart and Vascular Institute; ensure image quality and safety.
• Process images and input information into required information systems for documentation and billing; collaborate with nursing staff.

Education

AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

NYS license/registration

ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment)
