Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse PRN to join our cardiovascular team. The RN will provide and coordinate patient care, administer medications, and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

You will work closely with physicians, maintain documentation in MediTech and Camtronics, manage hemodynamic measurements, and respond to emergencies. ACLS/BLS certifications are required within 30 days of start; RN licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Cath Lab RN experience REQUIRED!

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React accordingly to emergencies.
• Administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatments.

What You Will Do In This Role

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
