Job summary

Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle, Texas is seeking a Nurse Leader to Direct the Cardiac Cath Lab’s clinical, operational, and financial functions. You will ensure staffing, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance while guiding a multidisciplinary team to maintain high clinical standards and patient safety.

You will collaborate with interventional cardiologists and hospital leadership to improve throughput, adopt new technologies, and sustain emergency STEMI readiness, with oversight of quality

Qualifications

• RN license (Texas) required.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 3 years of nursing experience and 1 year of leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily clinical, operational, and financial functions for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Leads and mentors interdisciplinary team to uphold clinical standards and patient safety.
• Partners with interventional cardiologists and hospital leadership to optimize lab throughput and emergency STEMI readiness.
• Oversees department quality assurance, leads root-cause analyses and tracks performance metrics.
