Job summary
Ardent Health Services seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Cardiovascular Technologist in Harker Heights, TX. Will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular exams, operate the hemodynamics system, and assist with table-side support while ensuring radiation safety and patient advocacy.
Requires ARRT or RCIS/LMRT licensure, TX state license, BLS within 14 days of hire and ACLS certification. Prior radiologic or cardiovascular tech experience preferred; Seton Medical Center Harker
Qualifications
- ARRT/RCIS/LMRT licensure or equivalent Texas licensure
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technology program
- BLS within 14 days of hire
- ACLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular examinations
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Obtain patient history prior to procedures
- Operate imaging and table-side support for procedures while minimizing radiation exposure
- Manage CPACS/HIS data entry and patient documentation
- Maintain ALARA and patient comfort and safety
- Provide basic nursing care and coordinate with team
- Assist in equipment setup and troubleshooting as needed
