UPMC Hanover is seeking an Invasive Cardiac Tech Specialist to support the Cath Lab. This full-time role requires a day shift (7am-5:30pm) with on-call, weekend and holiday coverage.

Eligible new hires may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. The position involves performing imaging procedures with independent judgment, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating across departments to ensure patient safety and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualificações

• ARRT Radiologic Technologist (RT-R) or RCIS certification required; CPR/BLS required; ACLS certification preferred and must be obtained within orientation period.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an invasive cardiac tech.
• Must be able to support 3 specialties within invasive cardiology (cardiology, EP, PV, Hybrid, IR or Structural Heart) and operate necessary equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Support other departments as directed or assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge of operation of equipment and supplies.
• Ensures images are coded and tracked in PACS and archived with proper charges entered.
• Maintains continuing education and competency requirements.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and uses universal protocol during procedures.
• Documents patient history in electronic records and communicates procedures clearly to patients.
