Zusammenfassung

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition, and provides routine and emergency care during procedures.

Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Helps in daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Education and/or Experience requirements: Associate's degree in a related field or military training plus experience, or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience.

Aufgaben

• Helps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations and related procedures.
• Performs pre and post-procedure care and monitoring.
• Prepares and maintains sterile fields for Lab procedures.
• Coordinates resources and inventories for procedure rooms.
• Oversees quality control initiatives and training of new staff.

Ausbildung

Associate's degree or military training equivalent

2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience
