Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a Day shift, full-time Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, monitors hemodynamics, and ensures equipment functions properly.

Qualified candidates hold RCIS or ARRT registration, a Kansas Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS within 14 days of hire. One year of radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RCIS certification or ARRT registration required.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts Radiologic Technologist license required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor and record hemodynamics and scrub procedures as needed.
• Ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot equipment to support quality exams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology for physician support.
• Participate in professional development to advance Cardiology Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor and record hemodynamics and assist the physician by scrubbing procedures.
• Assure proper functioning and troubleshooting of equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology to assist the physicians.
• Participate in professional development for the advancement of Cardiology Services.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist regsitered by the ARRT.
• Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
