The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is hiring a day shift Cardiovascular Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will assist physicians, monitor hemodynamics, scrub procedures, and ensure equipment readiness.

Ideal candidates hold RCIS or ARRT registration, Kansas radiologic licensure, and BLS within 14 days of hire. One year of radiology tech experience is preferred.

Formación

• RCIS or ARRT registration is required.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts radiologic technologist license is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor and record hemodynamics and assist the physician by scrubbing procedures.
• Assure proper functioning and troubleshooting of equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology to assist the physicians.
• Participate in professional development for the advancement of Cardiology Services.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist regsitered by the ARRT.
• Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
