Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking an evening shift, full-time CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic CT imaging, ensure radiation safety, educate patients on procedures, and support workflow with accurate documentation.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in radiology, ARRT(R) registration, KS license, and BLS within 14 days of hire. This role offers a strong team culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• Registered by the ARRT (R).
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
• Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
• Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
• Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.
