Job summary

St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, TX seeks an experienced RN to join our Float/Flex Team.

Qualifications

AS nursing degree required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience.
TX RN license required.
BLS certification required within 14 days.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to provide patient care in a cost-effective, quality-driven manner.
Performs ongoing assessments, develops goals, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
Documents in patient and unit records per standards of care.
Provides teaching to patients and families on Pain Management, Nutrition, Skin Integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, Smoking Cessation, and Discharge instructions.
Demonstrates commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
Participates in research activities and collaborates with Outcomes managers and department.
