Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. The role involves assisting with monitor tech duties, scrub tech responsibilities, and circulator tasks under physician supervision.

Qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science/healthcare, AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) licensing if RCIS is not held.

Formación

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare-related field.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire date.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) certification acceptable in lieu of RCIS.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operates physiologic recorder and imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Assists with transport of patient to and from the department.
• Prepares lab for procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Orders supplies for cath lab and manages inventory.
• Monitors patient status and safety during procedures and post-procedure care.
