Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision. The role includes monitoring, imaging, scrub and circulator duties in the cath lab, with patient transport and lab preparation.

The position requires an associate/bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare, current AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) credentials. Monday–Friday, 7:00–17:30, 10x4 shift.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare or commensurate experience.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interprets dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction as scrub tech.
• Assists as a circulator, monitors patient status during procedures.
• Transports patients to and from department; cleans and stocks cath lab.
