Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. The role involves assisting physicians as monitor tech, scrub tech, and circulator under supervision, with imaging equipment operation and patient monitoring.

The candidate should have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent healthcare experience, and strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, EKGs, and cath lab equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
• Interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs; operating physiologic recorder

Responsibilities

• Assists physician as a monitor tech during procedures by interpreting dysrhythmia and EKGs and operating physiologic recorder
• Assists physician with procedures as a scrub tech and operates imaging equipment
• Assists physician as a circulator monitoring patient status and handing supplies
• Cleans and stocks cath lab; orders supplies and demonstrates inventory control
• Troubleshoots equipment problems
