Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to support angiographic procedures in the Cath Lab. You will work under physician supervision with exposure to a range of advanced devices and imaging tech. Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications include a CVT or RTR credential, ACLS/BLS, and RCIS within six months. Prior Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred, with the ability to work varied shifts and live within 30 minutes of campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience required.
• Two years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials are required, ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire; RCIS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Operate and adapt to equipment and technology including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella.
• Maintain safety and foster teamwork; comply with hospital policies; flexible to varied hours.
