Job summary

Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. The role requires competence with Cath Lab and EP Lab equipment and a patient‑focused approach.

The ideal candidate has graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program, CVT or RTR credentials, and ACLS/BLS; RCIS must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience required.
• Two years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred.
• RCIS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials are required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician.
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies.
• Practices safety guidelines for patients, colleagues, support personnel, and self.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.
