Job summary

Georgetown University Hospital seeks a cardiovascular technologist to support a multidisciplinary cath lab team. You will assist with invasive procedures such as diagnostic cardiac catheterization, ICD/pacemaker work, EP/ablation, peripheral, bronchoscopy, and bone marrow harvest.

You will perform pre-procedure setup, patient monitoring, arterial/venous sheath management, hemodynamic data collection, and post-procedure room turnover, while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RCIS/RCVT/ARRT certifications preferred or required.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required or preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care for adults including starting IVs and monitoring.
• Assists during invasive procedures (cardiac catheterization, ICD/pacemaker, EP/ablation, peripheral, bronchoscopy, bone marrow harvest).
• Keeps X-ray equipment/quality checks prior to procedures.
• Assists physician during procedures and manages post-procedure sheath removal.
• Records hemodynamic data and prepares equipment for cases.
• Participates in training, orientation, and inventory management.
