Premiere Healthcare Staffing is searching for a Cath Lab/Cardiovascular Technician in Lewiston, ME. You will scrub and monitor data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the room and instruments are prepared and ready for cases.

The role requires ARRT-R and RCIS license per state, 1+ year in a cardiovascular lab, ACLS/BCLS, and proficient computer skills. This is a day shift assignment with a 26-week (6 months) duration.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and RCIS license required by state.
• At least 1 year of prior Cardiovascular Lab experience.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. At least one (1) year of previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; required.3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current. 5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire. 6. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $76.00 to $88.00. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
