Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will assist with monitoring, imaging, and catheter lab duties under physician supervision, while ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

This role requires RCIS or ARRT/RT(R), ACLS, and a strong knowledge of dysrhythmias, pressures, and sterile technique. Collaboration with the team enhances patient outcomes in a busy cath lab.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire, or ARRT/RT(R) in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interpret EKGs.
• Act as scrub tech and operate imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Serve as circulator by monitoring patient status and handling supplies.
• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Maintain cath lab stock and cleaning; manage medications and dosages knowledge.
