Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia, is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will participate in complex cardiac and vascular procedures with a focus on patient education and high-quality care in a state-of-the-art cath lab.

The role offers full-time daytime hours with a 30-minute call requirement, contributing to a dynamic cardiovascular program that emphasizes safety and compassionate patient experiences.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an allied health care professional or one year experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist in a cath lab setting.
• BLS/ACLS within 180 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
