Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist ( scrub tech) to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and provide scrub assistance in interventional procedures. The role includes hemodynamic monitoring, documentation, and 24/7 on-call coverage for the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities include acquiring images, monitoring hemodynamics, and assisting during procedures under physician direction. CPR/ACLS requirements apply with specific hire timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of allied health care experience
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist Program (CVT) or RT Program
• NH Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (MIRT)
• RT or RCIS or eligible
• CPR certified within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assists physician as first Scrub Assist for Diagnostic, Interventional, and other procedures; acquires fluoroscopic and cine images; pans procedure table.
• Monitor and analyze patient hemodynamic and angiographic data; calculate valve areas and shunts as directed.
• Monitor and record patient EKG, pressures, and other case specifics; provide direct patient care under guidance.
• Alert physician to changes in patient response; assist with medication administration and response evaluation.
• Proficiently use diagnostic and interventional devices under physician direction.
• Assist with cases in the Operating Room.
