Job summary

You will document care per policy, follow confidentiality guidelines, and communicate changes in patient status promptly. The position requires an RN license, an Associate or Bachelor degree, and ACLS/BCLS certifications with timelines for obtaining

Qualifications

• RN with current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications or instructors must be obtained within specified timeline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiac cath lab or related nursing area.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for essential clinical knowledge impacting patient outcomes in the nursing scope of practice.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and follow policies on confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic).
• Report critical information or change in condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide comfort and reduce patient suffering through presence and attentiveness, including pain assessment and reassessment.
• Document effectively and timely according to organizational policy.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate an up-to-date plan of care.
