Job summary

LewisGale Medical Center in Virginia is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse to ensure exceptional care for Cath Lab patients. You will apply clinical judgment, follow policy, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient plans.

This role requires a nursing Diploma/Associate degree with Virginia RN licensure, BLS, and 2 years of RN experience; BSN preferred. You will document care accurately and contribute to a supportive environment that emphasizes

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate's degree from a professional nursing program (required).
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred).
• Current RN license in Virginia or multi-state compact with VA eligibility.
• BLS Health Care Provider (required).
• 2 years of RN experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Cath Lab patients.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and follow confidentiality policies.
• Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide comfort and pain assessment/reassessment.
• Document care timely and accurately per policy.
• Collaborate with patients, families and team to coordinate care.
