LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to assist with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

You will prepare patients, support families, monitor responses, and maintain a sterile environment, with a 30-minute call standby and weekday day shifts.

Qualifications

• Allied health professional or Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiovascular Specialist I with a minimum of three years’ cath lab experience.
• BLS from ARC or AHA and ACLS required within 180 days of employment.
• Hours: Full time, day shift on weekdays; call required with 30-minute response time.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
