Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The role requires RN or ARRT credentials with Cardiovascular Interventional training or equivalent experience and ACLS/BCLS certification.

The schedule is 4/10 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week, with on‑site coverage in a fast-paced cath lab setting. Expect strong teamwork, patient safety focus, and routine emergency response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology.
• Cardiovascular Interventional Program graduate or minimum of two years CV specialist experience.
• Currently registered or licensed as RN or ARRT as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Maintains safe environment, proper medication handling and privacy.
• Operates radiographic and interventional cardiology equipment; supports procedures.
• Maintains departmental records and accurate patient data documentation.
• Communicates effectively with team, patients and families.
• Provides 24 hour emergency call coverage for the Cath Lab.
• Administers patient care under physician supervision and ensures patient safety.
• Provides education and training support to coworkers.
• Completes competencies and QA checks for regulatory compliance.
