Job summary

CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Technician for a 13-week contract in a busy Cath Lab in Dallas, TX. The role involves scrubbing into procedures, assisting with equipment, preparing rooms, and supporting the cardiovascular team throughout patient care.

Requirements include 2+ years in a cardiovascular invasive/Cath Lab, ARRT-RT or RCIS, Texas MRT, and BLS/ACLS. The technician will work 4×10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in cardiovascular invasive/Cath Lab.
• Credential requirements include ARRT-RT or RCIS, Texas MRT, BLS, ACLS.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub into cardiovascular procedures and assist physicians and team.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for Cath Lab procedures.
• Circulate in procedure rooms and collect procedural data.
• Monitor patients' ECG and vital signs during procedures.
• Provide emergency assistance including CPR and defibrillation.
