Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Irving, Texas. As a member of our team, you will prepare patients and equipment, support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; a Radiologic Technologist license is preferred. Work is 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and proper storage of supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines.
