Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program and RCIS/RCES within six months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and documents data from cardiovascular tests and alerts physicians to abnormalities.
• Explains testing procedures to patients to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Prepares reports of diagnostic procedures for physician interpretation.
