Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking a Cardiology Technician to join a team of physicians and experienced SPTs in a demanding cardiovascular lab environment.

The role involves scrub and monitor duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures, including catheterizations and EP-related cases. Requires 2+ years Cath Lab experience, BLS, and willingness to participate in call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on assignment.
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical Cath Lab or procedural setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare patients and the work area; ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ECG rhythms, pressures, and hemodynamic values during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout the procedure.
• Stock, replenish supplies, and assist with cleaning after cases.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety policies and laws.
• Work under the direction of a physician or other health care professional.
