Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is recruiting a Cath Lab/IR Cardiology Nurse Lead to join our team. The role combines direct patient care with clinical leadership in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supporting interventional procedures and ensuring patient safety.

The Nursing Lead serves as a senior clinical resource, promotes evidence-based nursing practice, and collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and workflow in a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN Licensure in the State of Idaho.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as required.
• Minimum 2 years cardiology catheterization lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the Cath Lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation under physician direction.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures and respond to complications.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Provide leadership and education to staff, ensuring evidence-based practice and safety.
