Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls seeks a skilled Cath Lab registered nurse to support invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. The role covers patient care from transport and prep to monitoring and post-procedure hemostasis, with a focus on teamwork and clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates hold Idaho RN licensure, an ADN and/or BSN, and 2–3 years cath lab experience, plus BLS/ACLS; PALS within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two to Three Years Of Cath Lab Experience Required.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of date of hire.
• BLS or BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all testing and therapeutics in the cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker, angioplasty, stent, dialysis catheter, IVC filter, IABP, and stress testing.
• Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Follow SBAR hand-off communication process.
• Assist the patient during the procedure, including transport, site prep, sterile procedure, monitoring, and post-procedure hemostasis.
