Job summary

Empire Southwest seeks a skilled equipment technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and power train issues using electronic tools and schematics, and clearly communicate equipment conditions and recommendations to clients, colleagues and management.

The role requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, and the ability to work safely while complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and English proficiency.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to read schematics and operate diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in Caterpillar and allied machines.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and communicate with clients and management.
