Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Catering Team Leader in Indiana to oversee catering operations, lead a team of caterers and support staff, and ensure orders are fulfilled to high standards.

You’ll guide the team, promote respect, diversity and development, and coach for success while focusing on meeting financial goals. You’ll maintain safety, drive guest satisfaction, analyze inventories and reports, and foster a culture of teamwork.

Formación

• 1–3 years experience in a multi-unit restaurant or single unit catering, convention center, or hotel banquet business.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 18–36 months of additional training.
• Valid Driver's License

Responsabilidades

• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided to department Team Members to reduce turnover, promote efficiency and control labor costs.
• Provide motivational leadership to an amazing team by focusing on respect and by setting an exemplary example.
• Identify strengths and opportunities of the team and think strategically when making moves and scheduling.
• Develop future leaders, identify Team Members poised to rise through the ranks, and promote inclusivity and diversity.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work for Team Members and guests.
• Establish an ongoing communication plan with the team to inform and prepare everyone to put their best food forward.
