Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in grocery operations/retail or related field
• Prior management experience in grocery operations/retail or related field is desirable
• Knowledge of Profit and Loss statements is required
• Ability to read and interpret P&L statements

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train Team Members
• Direct the work of Team Members
• Evaluate Team Members' productivity and efficiency for promotions
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints
• Discipline Team Members
• Plan and distribute work
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and store
• Manage department/location budget
• Manage inventory and shrink control
• Monitor or implement compliance measures
• Direct and evaluate training to reduce turnover and cost
• Provide motivational leadership and foster inclusion and respect
• Communicate with merchandising to align promotions
• Analyze financial and inventory reports to improve performance
