A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee catering services at the Nampa Civic Center. The role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and coordinating event execution. Reporting to the Catering & Premium Director (C&P Director), the Catering Supervisor will oversee all aspects of catering services within Nampa Civic Center. This role requires providing exceptional customer service and offering knowledgeable suggestions to clients and guests. The Catering Supervisor will mentor, train, and help employees and volunteers meet quality standards, maintain positive relationships, and facilitate effective communication internally and with clients and vendors. The supervisor will manage event execution, including setup, food & beverage presentation, service, and cleanup, focusing on detail, quality, and staff management.
The role involves supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff, as well as handling employment actions like hiring and discipline. Maintaining excellent attendance and flexibility for event-driven schedules, including evenings and weekends, is essential. The position demands professional presentation, interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, self-direction, and independent decision-making. This is a guest-facing role requiring a positive, service-oriented attitude, crucial for the business's success.
This position pays an hourly rate of $24.00-$27.00.
